Home Search for Relocating Employees

We recognise that finding a suitable home is often one of the most critical issues for relocating employees. We assist transferees to secure a property that meets their lifestyle and key housing criteria, with professionalism and compassion.

We arrange appointments for your transferee and their family to view potential housing options. The service is typically offered in daily units, although half days can be arranged. We supply a detailed itinerary, including addresses, map references, times and descriptions.

On selection of a rental property, we will:

  • assist with completion of the leasing application
  • negotiate the terms and conditions of the lease with the agent, as required
  • check the lease and explain its implications to the transferee
  • assist with organising payment of the security deposit and first month’s rental.

Where an employee is intending to purchase a property in the new location, we can:

  • provide real estate agent introductions, as required
  • assist with arranging building/pest inspections
  • organise utility and peripheral connections and services.

School Search and Education Consultation

We understand how important it is for relocating families to place their children in appropriate schooling as soon as possible.

Departing transferees electing to sell their primary residence upon relocating and are not present in their home location to manage the sale of their property are supported by Wridgways Move Solutions to assist in preparing and presenting the home for sale:

  • assist with furniture arrangements and rental furniture if required
  • prepare home for inspections (flowers, cleaning, etc)

This enables accurate assessment of differentials and allowances to be paid to the transferee. All calculations are supported by national real estate data. The reports are available for rental-to-rental, rental-to-purchase or purchase-to-purchase situations.
